Trusted Shops
Trusted Shops is a German trustmark and review service for online shops: certified shops display the Trustbadge with their rating, offer buyer protection on purchases and collect reviews shown in Google results.
Membership is a paid subscription, strongest in German-speaking countries, the Benelux, France, Poland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Shops carrying the badge are established consumer retailers on Shopware, Magento, Shopify or WooCommerce; a Trusted Shops badge indicates real order volume, a customer-service function that meets the certification criteria and a budget for conversion and trust tools.
The list is bought by vendors that sell to European online retailers: payment and buy-now-pay-later providers, shipping and returns platforms, e-commerce agencies, marketing and personalisation software, legal and compliance services, insurance and financing providers, and competing review platforms. A new Trusted Shops site is a shop that has just been certified, often after a growth phase; a dropped site may mean a cancelled membership, a replatforming or a store that stopped trading.
Trusted Shops is shown on 24,813 websites, which is 3.3% of all Reviews detections we record. Websites that show Trusted Shops reviews are most often served from Germany (14,218), Canada (1,551) and France (1,021), and .de, .com and .ch are the most common domain endings.
