Photo galleries

Photo galleries are the scripts and plugins that display images in grids, sliders and lightboxes. The category includes slider libraries such as Slider Revolution, bxSlider and Master Slider, WordPress gallery plugins such as NextGEN Gallery and FooGallery, lightbox scripts such as PhotoSwipe, image delivery services such as Imagekit, and portfolio hosting such as SmugMug and Wfolio. The owners are photographers, creative studios, real estate agents, restaurants and any business whose website leans on visuals. For lead generation the list points to image-heavy sites: a market for image optimisation and CDN services, stock photography, print and portfolio products, website speed services, and premium gallery or slider vendors.
