IaaS

IaaS stands for infrastructure as a service: cloud providers that supply the compute, storage and networking a website runs on. Detections in this category are based on hostnames, storage URLs and headers and include Google Cloud, Amazon ECS, DigitalOcean Spaces and Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service. A site on a raw cloud provider rather than shared hosting usually has developers managing it, which points to an application or a company with technical staff. The list is a stack qualifier for cloud cost optimisation and management services, backup, security and monitoring vendors, managed service providers and competing clouds offering credits for a migration.
